A card-scale batch-processing status indicator modelled on cheesemaking curd cutting and syneresis: a solid mass is knife-cut into a grid of cubes that each shrink at their own jittered rate, releasing whey into the widening gaps, jostled by a periodic stir, then recombined into a fresh batch.
