read-through
A sentence set enormous and read a word at a time. Three lines pan left together in eased steps — each step carries the next word to a fixed reading position, decelerating hard into it, dwelling, then accelerating away, the way an eye moves along a line rather than a marquee crawling past. Colour does the reading: a word arrives in the accent and resolves to the text colour as the pan carries it through, so any frame says what has been read and what has not. The lines above and below travel with it in grey, clipped by the frame.
